We met in Kimpton, Hertfordshire, many years ago, when our children were attending the same junior school.    Fast forward 10 years and most of our children are off to university and college.  We have wanted to create STM for a long time and, with our 'nests' getting emptier, we have decided to go for it!  We think we really know what we are doing, we love what we are doing, and we hope you will love us too.   We take our afternoon teas very seriously, but we like to have fun too - even in the kitchen sometimes.

Oh, and why 'Savour this moment'?  In Psychology, savouring the moment refers to intentionally focusing your attention on the positive aspects of an experience.  Paying more attention to, and appreciating, all the big and small positive things in life has been shown to reduce stress, deepen our sense of enjoyment and well-being, and bolster positive moods. It increases happiness and quality of life.   Savouring moments with loved ones brings stronger connections which leads to quality relationships and all the benefits of social support that they bring.   Who doesn't want that.
