Terms and Conditions of Bookings
Your booking is with Savour this Moment (‘STM’). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with any and all other policies and documents mentioned in these Terms.
Making a Booking: All quotations must be confirmed in writing by the Client (normally by email or text messaging). On confirmation, an invoice will be issued requesting a non-refundable deposit of 20%. Upon payment of deposit, you will be agreeing to accept STMs Terms and Conditions. This deposit will be deducted from the total costs. Payment methods available include bank transfer, debit card, credit card and cheque. Payment in full is required no later than 5 days before your event. Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 5 days prior. Once final numbers have been confirmed, we can accept increases in numbers, but no reduction will be possible.
Cancellation Charge: Should you have to cancel your event, STM requires confirmation, in writing, at least 5 days before, otherwise full payment will fall due. Your deposit will be retained.
Dietary Requirements and Allergies / Client’s own Food and Drinks: STM will endeavour to provide suitable adaptions to the Clients menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies. We cannot, however, take responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance (no less than 48 hours prior to the event). STM accepts no liability for any food supplied to the Client by another caterer (or food products suppliers by the Client themselves) in addition to those arranged by STM.
Client’s use of STM’s Property and Clients Personal Property: The Client agrees to pay for any loss or damage to any equipment, crockery, cutlery or glassware supplied by STM, including any issues caused by the Clients guests.
Liability of STM: STM will not be held responsible for the theft, loss or damage to any personal effects of the Client or guests. STM accept no liability under any claim whatsoever arising (be it by negligence or otherwise) for any loss over the figure of the existing STM Company Public Liability Limit of Indemnity. Note that this figure may change from time to time, and is available upon request together with a copy of our Certificate.
General Delivery Information: In the case of delivery only of our goods, you are responsible for providing us with correct and complete delivery details. STM will not be liable for the late delivery or delivery failures as a result of being provided incomplete or inaccurate details. Where we deliver your Product(s) in accordance with your instructions (whether to a ‘safe’ place, to a neighbour or otherwise) STM will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to the Products following delivery. Any such instructions are given entirely at your own risk. If delivery is not possible, then STM will leave contact details. However, due to the short shelf-life of the product, STM will not be liable for any non-delivery for which the Customer is responsible.
Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers are available to purchase. They can be upgraded by the guest upon contacting us and paying tthe additional charge for the service/product they require. Gift vouchers will expire 6 months after the date of purchase unless agreed otherwise by STM.
Use of Personal Information: In placing an order with STM, you agree to collection, use and processing of your information. We collect, store and process your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. For further details, see Privacy Policy below.
